Rates depend on the complexity and duration of the project. Work is typically done on a fixed-price or daily rate basis. A free, personalized quote is provided after discussing your needs. Budgets can range from a few hundred euros for a thematic map to several thousand for a complete deployment project.

Timelines vary by project: a simple thematic map can be delivered in a few days, while a complete FTTx project may take several weeks. Precise deadlines are committed from the quote stage, with regular progress updates. For urgent requests, the schedule can be adjusted if availability allows.

Both! Most cartographic and GIS work is done remotely. For field missions (GPS collection, surveys, measurements), on-site work is available within mainland France. For French-speaking Switzerland, studies and mapping are delivered remotely only. International assignments are also possible for humanitarian or development missions.

The process is straightforward: 1) Get in touch with a description of your need. 2) A free quote is sent within 24 hours. 3) After validation, production starts with regular check-ins. 4) Final files are delivered, with availability for adjustments. Invoicing is typically split: 30% upfront, 70% on delivery.

Main tools include QGIS, ArcGIS (Desktop and Pro), AutoCAD, PostGIS and GeoServer for GIS. For fieldwork: Garmin/Trimble GPS, ODK Collect and KoboToolbox. For collaborative mapping: OpenStreetMap and JOSM. Existing tools at the client's organization are integrated into the workflow.

Delivery in standard GIS formats: Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ for vector data. For maps: high-resolution PDF, PNG, QGIS or ArcGIS projects. For FTTx: AutoCAD plans (DWG/DXF) and databases compliant with operator specifications. Adaptation to specific format requirements is always possible.

QGIS training (beginner and advanced), mapathon workshops (collaborative mapping on OpenStreetMap), and field collection training (GPS, ODK Collect) are available. These can be delivered in-person or remotely, for groups of 5 to 20 people.
